Chambers’ work includes all forms of real property disputes, ranging from easement and boundary disputes through nuisance and trespass to mortgages and related fraud or negligence. We represent a wide range of corporate and individual clients and we relish the different challenges presented by disagreements about the position of a garden fence or arguments between commercial lenders as to the priority of their charges. We also have considerable experience of commercial and residential conveyancing in an advisory context.

Landlord and Tenant
Our expertise covers the full range of landlord and tenant work, including commercial, residential, agricultural, private and public. We act in contentious and non-contentious matters for landlords, tenants and lenders. Members advise and draft documents for a wide variety of leasehold transactions, including those involving unrealised development value. Contentious matters dealt with include disputes as to user, alienation, dilapidations, rent review, renewal and termination, and leasehold enfranchisement. We are familiar with the practice and procedure of the Lands Tribunal and the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal, as well as the courts governed by the Civil Procedure Rules.
