The topics covered include the statutory statement of directors' duties, shareholders' rights, institutional shareholder reporting, deregulation, auditors' liability, and bringing the 2006 Act into force.
November 2006	Legal Update - Issue 4 - Winter 2006 This edition examines a recent decision on domicile of choice and domicile of origin, whether the trademark "FCUK" was lawful, the decision in Corbett v Bond Pearce in relation to the case of White v Jones, and when not to present a petition under s. 459 of the Companies Act 1985.
September 2006	Legal Update - Issue 3 - Autumn 2006 This edition examines the nature of misconduct for unfair prejudice petitions under s. 459 of the Companies Act 1985, the role of trustees who are also directors of trustee companies, disclosure in share sale agreements, and the interplay between acknowledgments of liability under the Limitation Act 1980 and the without prejudice rule.

1 February 2006	Legal Update - Issue 1 - February 2006 This edition examines the House of Lords' decisions in Spectrum Plus (fixed and floating charges) and O'Brien v. Chief Constable of South Wales Police (similar fact evidence), the Privy Council's ruling in Barlow Clowes (dishonest assistance), and the Court of Appeal's judgment in Murad v. Al-Saraj (breach of fiduciary duty).
